Isolated Insanity

The silence numbs me.
As I lie in this cell.
My hands tied together,
remind me of my fate.

Colors are twisting,
I can no longer understand.
What’s real and what’s not.
I can no longer tell.

I hear sounds,
that haunt me in my sleep.
The white around me
constantly shifts.

It’s been 3 years,
I’m probably stuck here for good.
Trapped in a strange reality
that I can never escape.
